(Question) When should I cross-post on LessWrong vs. EA Forum only?

I noticed the “questions” feature is gone so just posting this as a post, hope that’s OK.

While I feel like I have a good idea when to post something on the EA Forum (effective impact focused), I feel less clear when I should post on LessWrong.

In particular, I feel like LessWrong culture is slightly less well-defined and attracts at least a few categories of posts, for example posts focused on:

  • Rationality (duh)
  • AI safety
  • Futurism/other advanced technology/physics type-stuff
  • Some EA and x-risk type stuff?

Maybe the last category is where I feel like I am least clear. Does anyone have good heuristics for when to post on LessWrong, and which cross-posts from the EA forum are appreciated vs. not?
