Terms of use
What this is. A public, read-only reader and search over a bounded sample of public Nostr posts observed through the operator's followed network and followed RSS/Mastodon/Bluesky bridge accounts — text only, last 30 days. There are no user accounts and no posting. Shown posts are cached copies collected through Nostr relays; original-event links point back to the Nostr network.
What is collected and shown. Only Nostr events whose cryptographic signature verifies are stored; post text, author names and profile details are derived from those signed events. Post bodies are sanitized text with http(s) links only — no scripts or images in post bodies. This site does not verify anyone's real-world identity, and a displayed name or address is not proof of who wrote it. A signed Nostr event cannot be edited without breaking its signature, and no process guarantees its deletion from the Nostr network; relays may retain events regardless of what this reader shows. Post bodies expire and disappear after 30 days; profile and follow metadata may be kept beyond that window. Filter rejections are logged as counts and event ids, never as content.
Prohibited material and removal. Child sexual abuse and exploitation material, exposed private credentials, and threats or doxxing have no place here: posts containing obvious credentials are discarded before being stored, stored copies are removed when found, and the operator removes other prohibited posts from this site when identified and prevents their collection. Spam and explicit content are filtered at the operator's discretion, as described on the status page. Removal from this site does not affect copies on Nostr relays, and a signed Nostr event cannot be deleted network-wide by this site.
Notices. To report a problem with a post, open an issue at github.com/wassname/meatybroth/issues/new with the post's event ID and a short reason. GitHub issues are public and normally show the reporter's GitHub identity. Do not paste post content, screenshots or credentials into a report, and do not copy illegal or sensitive material anywhere. The operator reviews reports and disables public access to identified prohibited posts.
Limits. Collection is budgeted and partial by design, and filtering is imperfect in both directions: no guarantee is made that any particular content is complete, correct, or available. Missing posts may reflect collection limits or deliberate filtering. Author-labelled content warnings hide text behind a click-to-show with the author's reason; unlabelled explicit text may be auto-flagged, and flagged text is hidden behind a click-to-show until expanded. The operator maintains a blocklist of authors and posts that stops content from appearing here and prevents it from being collected again; per-rule filter counts are visible on the status page.
